Everything runs in your browser

omnichord.online is a web instrument that generates sound on your own device with the Web Audio API. We have no accounts and no backend that stores your data. Recordings you make are created in your browser and saved straight to your device — they are never uploaded to us.

MIDI and microphone

If you connect a MIDI keyboard, the browser asks for permission and MIDI messages are processed locally. We do not use your microphone.

Settings stored on your device

Your skin, volume and rhythm preferences may be saved in your browser's local storage. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited and whether the instrument loads). These services may set cookies. We may show ads from Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your Google ad settings.
